We are looking for a Test Engineer (7–15 years) to join our team focused on validating the RtBrick Full Stack (RBFS). You will be responsible for the end-to-end validation of disaggregated routing software. The ideal candidate has deep experience in access protocols and high-performance forwarding on Broadcom-based white-box hardware.

Routing ProtocolsProficiency in BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS (L1/L2), EVPN
Broadcom SiliconExperience with Broadcom StrataDNX (Q2A, Q2C, Jericho2) and SDK/BCM shell.
Automation ToolsMastery of Python and Robot Framework. Experience with BNG Blaster is a major plus.
System SkillsDeep understanding of Linux (Debian), LXC containers, and RESTful APIs.

Mandatory Technical Skills
Testing & Automation: Proven track record in automated testing for network software using Python.
L3 Forwarding: Mastery of IPv4/IPv6 Unicast routing and LDP-labeled unicast.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in EC, CS, or IT with a strong networking focus.
Prior experience with disaggregated NOS (Network Operating Systems) or white-box testing.
Ability to work independently in a distributed, "can-do" team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Access & Subscriber Validation: Create and execute automated test strategies for high-scale subscriber sessions using PPPoE and IPoE (DHCPv4/v6)
  • Forwarding & HQoS: Validate complex forwarding features including HQoS (Hierarchical Quality of Service), policing, shaping, and scheduling (WFQ, Strict Priority) to ensure carrier-grade traffic management
  • Broadcom Platform Testing: Perform deep-dive testing on RBFS-supported Broadcom silicon, including Q2A (BCM88470), Q2C (BCM88820), and Jericho2 series
  • Automation Leadership: Develop robust automation suites using Python and Robot Framework. Use BNG Blaster to emulate massive subscriber scales and network protocols
  • Performance Engineering: Validate system stability under extreme conditions (e.g., 1M+ routes, tens of thousands of subscribers, and high-rate session churn)
  • Collaboration: Partner with development and customer success teams to debug issues in RBFS modules (fibd, ribd, pppoed)
