Fremont, USA: Cloud-native routing software company RtBrick expands Indian engineering team and operations in India by more than 50%, following a year of record-breaking growth and sustained profitability. The move comes as global telecom operators continue to adopt disaggregated networking to modernise legacy infrastructure.
RtBrick reported over 300% year-on-year revenue growth and achieved cashflow positivity for the fourth time in five years, driven by increased demand for its next-gen broadband routing solutions. The company added 10 new telecom customers in the past year, solidifying its position as a leader in the disaggregated networking space.
“As disaggregated networking becomes the preferred architecture for building modern telco infrastructure, demand for our software continues to accelerate,” said Pravin S Bhandarkar, CEO and Founder of RtBrick.
“To keep pace with this growth, we’re significantly scaling our engineering capabilities, and India remains a critical hub for sourcing the kind of world-class, innovative software talent we need,” added Bhandarkar.
Expanding Indian engineering team
The expanded Indian engineering team will support accelerated product development and deployments across Europe, North America, and APAC. This follows the recent opening of a customer support centre in Chennai, focused on real-time technical support for global clients.
“The engineers joining us aren’t here to just build code, they’re breaking norms and playing a key part in shaping the industry. What unites them is a hunger to challenge legacy thinking and contribute to the evolution of modern network infrastructure,” said Hannes Gredler, CTO and Co-Founder of RtBrick.
RtBrick’s software is already powering networks for major carriers such as Deutsche Telekom and regional providers like WOBCOM, as the industry shifts from proprietary hardware to software-based, open network models.
