LLDP Operational Commands

LLDP Show Commands

The LLDP show commands provide operational information about the global LLDP configuration, LLDP-enabled interfaces, and discovered LLDP neighbors. They can be used to verify the LLDP configuration and monitor neighbor information.

LLDP Interface Show Commands

The command displays the information about interfaces where LLDP is enabled.

Syntax:

show lldp interface

The following table provides command option and description.

Displays summary details such as status, MAC address and description.

LLDP Neighbor Show Commands

Display information about the LLDP neighbors discovered on the device.

Syntax:

show lldp neighbor
show lldp neighbor detail
show lldp neighbor <interface-name>

Command Description

neighbor

Displays summary information about LLDP neighbors discovered on the device.

neighbor detail

Displays detailed information about a specific LLDP neighbor or all neighbors. It includes the advertised system name, system description, port information, and other received LLDP information.

neighbor <interface-name>

Displays LLDP neighbor information for the specified interface.
